The ground that will be hosting the Olympics of 2004. The Olympics of 1996 should already have been assigned to Athens, but Coca Cola's money spoiled Greece's party. This ground is named after Spiros Louis, the winner of the first modern Olympic marathon in 1896.

The Spiros Louis Stadium is a public stadium and throughout the years has been used by Olympiakos, Panathinaikos and AEK. Until recently Olympiakos was still playing there. Panathinaikos is now playing in its traditional  ground (Apostolos Nikolaidis - Aleksandras stadium). Olympiakos from this year on and until the new Karaiskakis stadium is ready is going to play in the renewed Rizoupoli stadium.
