I visited this ground on the way back home from a vacation in Italy. I already knew this ground had new stands. It looks really great now.

Apart from FC Vaduz, also the national team of Liechtenstein plays its matches here. It is, in fact, the only stadium in Liechtenstein where international matches are allowed by FIFA / UEFA. Both organizations threatened Liechtenstein to ban the country from international matches if they did not build a new ground.
The ground was opened with a match between FC Vaduz and German 1998 champions 1. FC Kaiserslautern. FC Vaduz lost 0-8.

Liechtenstein has no national league; only a national cup competition.
